2025 is off to a great start for Algerian journalist and President of the National Union of Algerian Journalists and Media Professionals, Mosbah Guediri, after he was awarded the “Pioneer Person of the Year” by The Arab Development Council, as part of recognizing his contribution to the industry and encouraging other journalists to use their profession to bring positive change in society.
The Arab Development Council, headed by Dr. Iman Aden, awarded the title of “Pioneer Person of the Year for the Year 2024” to Mosbah Guediri, head of the National Union of Algerian Journalists and Media Professionals, in honor of his efforts to enhance the role of media and community development, as well as his positive impact on content development and social awareness.
According to The Arab Development Council, “This initiative aims to shed light on media figures who have left a clear mark on the Arab level.
However, speaking of the title, President Mosbah Guediri said that it’s a great honor to be awarded the Pioneer Person of the Year for the year 2024.
“I was honored to be selected among an elite group of media leaders for the year 2024 in the Arab and African world, which is a great honor that ignites in me the flame of giving and creativity. It is the culmination of the collective efforts we all make to enhance volunteer work and leave a positive impact on our society” Stated Mosbah Guediri

Mosbah Guediri added, “In turn, I express my sincere appreciation and respect to everyone who contributed to achieving this success, and our call is to continue working hard, advancing journalistic work, conveying our media message, and pushing it towards a bright future”.
A senior Journalist and a member of the National Union of Algerian Journalists and Media Professionals, Bilal Hamdouni during the interview with The Loyal Media said he is proud of the title from President Mosbah.
“I am very happy that Mr. President Mesbah has been crowned with this well-deserved title, given his dedication and sacrifice in the field of media. This title increases our resolve and determination to exert our efforts to serve our purposeful media and the Union of Journalists”, Bilal Hamdouni finished.
