After the President-elect, of the United States, Donald J Trump, appointed the number one richest person in the world, Billionaire Elon Musk, to manage the New Department of Government Effectiveness (DOGE), various analysts have been explaining the reasons and giving different opinions.
Political and Economic analyst from Tanzania Honorius Mpangala, said that Mr. Trump’s decision to appoint Elon Mask is due to his ability to run his companies, which will stimulate economic growth for the American Nation.
“The United States is a nation with a commercial wing regardless of what kind of business will develop their economy, Elon Mask being part of the American Government under Trump is to develop their economy, to make the United States great again as the President-elect slogan says”. added Mpangala.
Elon Musk in his duties will collaborate with another elected leader, Vivek Ramaswamy, who is an expert in Biotechnology issues, wrote a statement released this week from the President-elect.
Donald Trump’s statement explained that some of the department’s responsibilities will be to restructure government departments, and reduce regulatory issues, something that Elon Musk has promised will cause turmoil in the system and anyone who does not support the government.
According to Trump, the Elon Mask appointment will end on July 4, 2026, and is expected to eliminate unnecessary government spending of approximately 6.5 trillion dollars a year, to stabilize the economy and make the government accountable to the people while having fewer executives.
